Tyler & Laci Gescheidle

Tyler Gescheidle, a lifelong golfer and proud San Marcos resident, came up with the idea for Swing Station in 2024. As someone who has always loved the game, Tyler saw a need for something new and exciting for local residents — a place where golf, community, and fun could come together under one roof. Having been familiar with indoor golf simulators for years, he took a deep dive into the technology, discovering just how far it had come. Determined to bring the best possible experience to San Marcos, Tyler sought out funding and partnered with industry experts to ensure Swing Station would feature top-of-the-line Full Swing™ simulators and a truly modern setup.

Tyler’s wife, Laci, graciously jumped on board from the very beginning. Together, they’ve poured countless hours, ideas, and energy into building Swing Station from the ground up — a true grassroots effort supported by family, friends, and the San Marcos community. Their shared goal has always been simple: to create a welcoming, high-quality space that brings people together and gives San Marcos something to be proud of.

Outside of Swing Station, Tyler is a certified independent personal trainer here in San Marcos and is in the process of opening a brand-new commercial private gym right next door to the facility. Chances are, if you stop by Swing Station, you’ll see him there — training clients, greeting guests, or sneaking in a few swings between sessions.

When they’re not working, Tyler and Laci love traveling, exploring new places, and going on adventures together. They bring that same sense of energy, curiosity, and connection into everything they do at Swing Station — making sure every visitor feels welcome, inspired, and part of something special.
