Golf has been part of James' life from the beginning. His father competed on the PGA TOUR alongside legends including Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus before a long career as a club professional and instructor.
James attended the San Diego Golf Academy in the 1990s and worked as a golf professional and instructor throughout Central Texas.
Through On Point Golf Shop, James brings club-fitting and custom club-building experience dating back to 1995. His philosophy: equipment should be selected for your swing—not simply because it's popular or available on the shelf.
Now working with Swing Station, James pairs his expertise with Full Swing simulator data and Srixon equipment to help golfers make informed decisions.

Do I have to buy clubs after my fitting?
No. Equipment purchases are separate from the fitting fee and can be discussed with James through On Point Golf Shop.
Will a fitting guarantee more distance or lower scores?
No. Fitting recommendations are based on observed swing characteristics and available data; results depend on factors including technique and consistency.
How do I reserve an appointment?
Once online booking is activated, choose a fitting type and an available time, then prepay securely through Square.
Club fittings are intended to identify equipment suited to your swing characteristics and performance data. Swing Station and On Point Golf Shop do not guarantee increased distance, improved accuracy, lower scores, or any specific performance outcome.
